Mass processing allows you to upload a large number of RFID cards at once via a CSV import, making it quick and easy to integrate them into the system.

Filling in the CSV file

At the end of this article, you’ll find a CSV file as a template for mass processing. For mass processing to be successful, all required fields in the CSV file must be filled in. When saving, make sure the file is encoded in UTF-8. Otherwise, special characters (e.g. umlauts) may be displayed incorrectly or not processed properly during import. You can find more information about formatting here.

NOTE: Please make sure that when mass processing RFID cards, only the RFID cards belonging to the respective client are included in the CSV file for which you are carrying out the mass processing.

Fill in the CSV file using the following table.

Column name	Category	Description	Selection default
contractId	Optional	Enter the contract ID of the customer to whom the respective RFID card should be assigned. After assignment, the RFID-chip is automatically activated and can be viewed under → Contracts → Access keys. If you do not specify a contract ID, the imported RFID cards will then be displayed under → Contracts → New RFID access keys or under → E-mobility → New RFID cards. There, you can manually assign them to a contract at a later time. You can also use these RFID cards if you receive RFID orders from the app.	-
name	Required	Name of the RFID card (e.g. employee name, cost centre, vehicle registration)	This is a free text field. Please note that special characters are not allowed and will result in an error message.
dec	Optional	UID of the RFID card as a decimal number	-
hex	Required	UID of the RFID card as a hexadecimal number (8 or 14 digits).	Please note that the reversed hex must be entered here. Be sure to read this Help Centre article for more information on entering the hexadecimal number correctly.
validUntil	Required	Expiration date of the RFID card The date is exclusive of the entered date, meaning validity ends on the entered day at 0:00 am	The card will be automatically blocked after this date. If the RFID card should be valid indefinitely, enter 31.12.2099 here. Format: dd.mm.yyyy
overPrint	Required	Card print	-
securityHash	Optional	Here you can set the PIN that customers can use to activate their RFID card.	Please note that requiring a PIN for storing RFID cards is an optional setting, which you can configure in the expert settings under → Settings → Expert settings → “E-mobility” → “RFID”(emobility.rfid.deactivatePinOnWebservice):
validFrom	Required	Start of validity for the RFID card The card cannot be used before this date! The date is inclusive of the entered date, meaning validity begins on the entered day at 0:00 am For this field to have an effect, the expert setting emobility.rfid.enableLogicSystemManaged must be activated. This is how you find an expert setting.	Format: dd.mm.yyyy
systemType	Required	Type of RFID card Here you can find out more about the two RFID system types.	Possible values (use lower case): external → for third-party RFID cards internal → for your own RFID cards. NOTE: If you combine “systemType” = external and “inRoaming“ = 1 you will receive the following error message: “Access keys with the system type external cannot be available in roaming.”
inRoaming	Required	Here you specify whether an RFID card should be enabled for roaming.	Possible values: 0 → not enabled for roaming 1 → enabled for roaming
